Seed Time and Harvest Time is one of the forces that guards our day to day existance. There can never be a harvest without sowing.
The word of God in Gen 8:22 says "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease".
The above scripture indicates that while the earth remains, the law of seeding and reaping will remain.
Every tragedy or every blessing came as a result of seed sown. We need to realize that we live on earth in seed time and harvest 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This was also elaborated in Gal 6:7 which says "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap". Sowing bad seeds and expecting to reap a good harvest is mocking God.
On the other side every positive word of action you sow will result in a good harvest.
