Are you in the midst of a project or is your mind pulling you towards something great in your work, academics or ministry and you are not sure its God's plan and purpose for you? How to know and connect when it is God guiding me? We mentioned some points in our post -Understanding God’s Leading as a Christian.
There are lots of other factors to know and check either it is Gods leading or you are basically being tempted by the tempter to have your destiny ruined. So, how do I know its God Leading me or How do i find God leadings?
1. Peace of Mind – No matter how heavy that project is, as long as it is Gods leading, you will always enjoy peace of mind. Any project that gives you sleepless night and sorrow of heart is basically void of God’s presence – For it is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. - Psa 127:2. Why will God give me a project that will cost my life? He is not a wicked God folks. No matter how BIG that idea in your mind is, as long as it is from God, Just give it time; for it will automatically pave its own way with little, great or no effort applied.
2. Divine Ideas – When God is leading or Guiding you towards any project either in ministry or in your career, you gain access to in-depth of divine ideas. Just an idea might take you a whole month to pen down. I remember receiving an idea from God and it took me a whole 2 days and night to pen down as it pertains the future of this ministry. After some 2 years of consulting the same ideas, I could plainly deny it was not me that wrote down those ideas. There were too big and the construction of words? Ooh boy still big for me to fathom (figure out) without my dictionary and online search.
3. Divine Provision – That’s right and you heard me well “Divine Provision” Its funny though but it’s the bible truth. God will never send you a task without providing for you. Remember the disciples? Christ commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse - Mark 6:8.
Later he asked them (the disciples), When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing - Luke 22:35.
Also, god told Solomon to build him a temple. Solomon did not spend a penny in building that temple from his own purse. The provision was made even before he became king. Therefore, deal with worries and anxieties God's way.
4. Zeal to Continue – Despite every challenge you might face on your way to the top, you just find yourself moving forward. No matter what they throw against you, you just dust the debris off you and continue moving. That is an evidence of God leading you.
On your way to the top, challenges and tribulations are bound to show up but you must always remember – Christ overcame all for you. Depend and believe in that name “Jesus” today. I see you making waves in your field and occupation.
