Why are you in Ministry

This is a fundamental question that must be answered by every individual who claims to have the call of God upon his or her life – why am I in ministry. What is my calling, what are my gifts?

Essentially, ministry is service and success or exploit in ministry begins with service.

Jesus told them, "I have food to eat that you don't know about." The disciples asked each other, "Did someone bring him something to eat?" Jesus told them, "My food is to do what the one who sent me wants me to do and to finish the work he has given me - John 4:32-34

This is to say, our greatness this month as believers will surely be a betterment of the previous month.

Tithing has been in existence and practiced among the people of God even before the Law of Moses, as well as during the era of the Law “And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thy oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.” Deu 14:23

So, what is tithing or tithing definition? Who should pay tithe? What are the common misconceptions about Tithing?

Fulfilling Purpose - Be all you can be in Jesus Christ

Do you know that you can be everything you’ve ever dream of becoming? Do you know you can ride those Rolls Royce you’ve ever dreamed of acquiring? You can be everything you want to be in Jesus Christ alone.

Affecting your world positively

When Jesus was about releasing his disciples, he gave them power to change the world. He said “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves” - Mat 10:16 .

We were meant to affect our world positively and not the world affecting us. You are meant to affect the economy and not the economy affecting you. You are meant to subdue the world via Christ being in you and not the world subduing you.

Read and Study God's Word

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (II Tim 2:15)

Paul is telling us all here to Read and Study God's word that we might be Approved by God. A Christian who doesn't spend adequate time in God's word is a disobedient Christian. This world is filled with sin and ungodly elements, and only through God's word can we find true spiritual refreshment to keep us clean and set apart for God's service.

Today is a day set aside to praise and seek the face of God worldwide.

Daily Bible Study - Step Up

 My bible tells me that “the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” - Pro 4:18. This means that your path, business and career this New Year 2011 could only be a better of the previous year. You will experience the highest level of success recorded ever in your life and family this year! 

Also, it’s not a year to fear in the happenings around us. Why is that so? My bible also tells me that “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” - Psa 91:1.
