In our daily bible study editions today, we’ll be talking about 7 things to know about healing. What are the things I need to know as a believer about healing. What is God’s stand in me getting healed, why I can’t be sick and many more. The bible talking in John 8:32 says “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." So, what are the 7 things to know about healing (Pt 1)
1. It is God’s will to heal you – This could be confirmed in Psalm 107:19-20 “In their distress they cried out to the LORD. He saved them from their troubles. Psa 107:20 He sent his message and healed them. He rescued them from the grave.” You need to call him and he since it is his will to have you healed, you will definitely be healed.
2. Sickness and disease are not from God – Yes that is true. But God created everything in the world (also true) See, when God created Heaven and earth, he made no remedy for sickness because there was no sickness. He said Be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth. He created every plant for food and not for drug. James 1:16-17 have this to say “My dear brothers and sisters, don't be fooled. Jam es 1:17 Every good present and every perfect gift comes from above, from the Father who made the sun, moon, and stars” was there sickness mentioned above? Nope!
3. See yourself well – 2Co 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” Your new nature of sin which leads to sickness was flushed out at new birth. The devil no longer has control over your body. Therefore, with the eyes of faith, see yourself well.
