Everything we do affects our souls & spirit. If we desire to be filled with Gods spirit, we need to do things and surround ourselves with people, that helps and allows our souls to be healthy & in Christ (in the anointing). Our salvation & eternity in heaven depends on these works. Don't forget our time in this world is very temporary.
