Continuing our Word of God series on You Can Disarm the Power of Sin , we'll be looking at another avenue of disarming the powers of Sin in a believers life.
Sit Down and Think!
Sounds funny right? Oh yes. Sit Down and Think.
Another treatment for sin is to sit dowm and think. If only anyone struggling with sin would do this, then the sin problem will be more than half solved.
Haggai 1:5 says to you:
The Next Scripture hould help your reasoning:
Proverbs 6:32-33 "But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away"
Now ask yourself, "Is that what i want to get?" If the answer is no, why must you do what will cause you a wound and land you in dishonour?
We need to sit down and think in line with the word of God by asking ourselves "What benefit can sin offer?"
If you dont know how to think, you'll never know how to turn.
STOP and THINK NOW, so you can turn away from sin.
