In our Daily Bible Study today, we'll be talking about Repaying evil and wrong doings against you with good.
Never at any time repay evil with evil and wrongs done you with wrong. I know its difficult to repay those who mock you in times of trouble with good but this is what the word says in Proverbs 25:21 “If your enemy is hungry, give him some food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him some water to drink.”
If your enemy is hungry and you are aware, make sure you feed him. When he’s thirty, give him a bottle of soda if you have it. If he’s tired, suggest giving him a sofa to relax on.
This was also confirmed in the New Testament when peter asked “Lord, how often do I have to forgive a believer who wrongs me? Seven times?" Jesus answered him, "I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy times seven. Mat 18:21-22.
All these are attributes of the agape nature of God inside every believer. An eye for an eye is no statement for a believer living in love.
