Understanding God’s Leading as a Christian

“When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm” Psa 105:13 - 15

 When God is the one leading you, all you have to do is follow “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” Psa 23:4.

Remember the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the book of Daniel? They were sure God was going to save them AND EVEN IF HE WILL NOT SAVE THEM, they were not ready for the King.

We need to get to a level as believers where nothing matters to us except what God has said concerning us. As long as we are in this world, people are bound to say thing against us BUT that should not be the determiner of our Joy – God’s leading should.

Why Do We Need Divine Guidance?

1. It is your Access to Supernatural Breakthrough

“And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.” Isa 48:21; Jn10:2-3

When God leads, He goes before the led; Ps 24:7-10, and when God goes ahead of you, the gates must lift up their heads. This is why Ps23: 1 says “The lord is my shepherd, I shall not want for anything including breakthrough." God going before the led is the master key for breakthrough.

2. It is our Covenant Access to Supernatural Blessings

Gen12:1-3 - God led Abraham to where his blessings were (Gen13:2, 24:1, 26:1-2, 12-14, Gal3:13-14, 4:28) He also led Isaac to remain where his blessing was. He will lead you to where your blessing is this day.

All you need is to be sensitive to his leading. Be totally dependent on Him. Let your life be guided and ordered by His word and i see you getting to your top most top in Jesus Name.
