A major prescription for discouragement is patience. The enemy often places obstacles of discouragement on any man’s journey to greatness no matter how anointed you are. Being able to overcome discouragements leads one to glory and fulfillment.
It however takes patience to make the discouragements give way to attainments.
Discouragements are temporal. Only patience can watch it fizzle out.
Patience is not an endowment. It is learned and developed a man realizes his need for it. It is a test of Christian character. It is more than waiting for a measured time. It rather proves a man’s worth and resistance against pressures and challenges.
Patience should be a major companion of any believer who desires to climb up the ladder of success. Every rung of the ladder is full of challenges and oppositions, and rather than complaining, patience helps to make it an exciting experience.
Always have this engraved in your heart whenever challenges show up. That is the Words of Jesus christ which says, fear not for i am with you always.
