Benefits of Mentorship - Christian mentorship

Mentorship refers to a personal developmental relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps a less experienced.

The word “mentor” is defined as “a wise and trusted counselor or teacher.” Although “mentoring” doesn’t appear in the Bible, Scripture does give us numerous examples of mentoring. 

Moses was mentored by Jethro his father-in-law, as son-in-law and then as a leader (Exodus 18).

Accessing Gods Divine Guidance - Be Watchful

Previously on our divine guidance series, we mentioned that you need to be spiritual to be lead by God as spiritual guidance is a must for every believer who is set to make a mark on this earth. Likewise, we must set ourselves on the watch in order to hear what God has to say - be watchful

This is to say, we must be watchful at all times to access the hidden mysteries God has promised each and every one of us.  “ I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will be watchful to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” - Habakkuk 2:1-3
