Love for God

On I Love God site today, we’ll talk about operating in the love of God – perfect love.

Paul said in his letter to the Corinthians 1Cor 13:1 “I may speak in the languages of humans and of angels. But if I don't have love, I am a loud gong or a clashing cymbal”

How do I know i’m operating in a perfect kind of love for god?

Daily Bible Study - Step Up

Friends, I’m here to challenge you this weekend to step up. This is our Daily Bible Study for the season.
Until you step up to that situation, you will not overcome that seemingly impossible case, you won’t move to the next level. Let me give you a clear illustration from the scriptures.

Every Condemning Sentence Canceled

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” — John 16:13

The Holy Spirit teaches my reborn human spirit that I am no longer under the condemning sentences of sin, sickness, and poverty. I no longer have to walk as an unregenerate man in the flesh. I am to walk after my reborn human spirit as I am taught and led by the Holy Spirit.

The Power of the Tongue

It’s been said over and over again that 'the tongue' being a small member of the body yet possesses great powers. The tongue has made men out of nothing and it has destroyed many mighty men. I believe at the end of this post, you will be encouraged to use the potency of your tongue and the power therein – to command great achievements in your life – The Power of the Tongue

What is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost

Some time ago, we discussed briefly the meaning of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Today, we’ll be going in-dept and talking about The Baptism of the Holy Ghost and How to receive Him.
What is Holy Ghost baptism? Baptism is an action that suggests a total immersion. John's water baptism was for repentance and a preparation for the spiritual baptism

The promised Baptism with the Holy Ghost comes from the Father and with it we receive power!

Use The Key - Keys to The Next Level

You heard me right friends, use the key. Life is cheap and easy to overcome once you know and follow the principles governing it.

Its not enough to know the principles but you need to apply them. Many of us bump on our door again and again despite the key been on our hand or in our pocket. We tend to open with force that which could give us easy access via the application of the right key.

God's Word for the New Year 2011

God's Word for the New Year - How do we know Gods Word for the Year 2011?
My bible tells me that “the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” - Pro 4:18. This means that your path, business and career this New Year 2011 could only be a better of the previous year. You will experience the highest level of success recorded ever in your life and family this year!

Also, it’s not a year to fear in the happenings around us. Why is that so? My bible also tells me that “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” - Psa 91:1.

What is Edifying – Edify yourself to the top

As we’ve entered a ‘new year’ we need to edify ourselves in order to attain our greatest height this season. When we talk about edifying or edification in the body of Christ, we simply mean enlightening or uplifting so as to encourage intellectual or moral improvement. A believer who is not well edified and fed will soon expire (what do people do with expired products? We throw them away) “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men” - Mat 5:13

Greater Glory - Moving to the Next Level

As I traveled down the road this season for holiday and to visit family members, a scripture keeps popping up in my Mind. Not that I’ve not heard of it before nor taught about it, but the interpretation was quite different - Pro 4:18 which says "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” another translation (G.W) says “But the path of righteous people is like the light of dawn that becomes brighter and brighter until it reaches midday” Who is the Just (we believers of course - you and me) according to the Word of God

Lets put this is our modern translation “Your path and mine as well is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”  - Greater glory

Celebrating Christmas Day - Word of God

Christmas Day is celebrated as a major festival and public holiday in countries around the world, including many whose populations are mostly non-Christian. In some non-Christian countries, periods of former colonial rule introduced the celebration (e.g. Hong Kong); in others, Christian minorities or foreign cultural influences have led populations to observe the holiday. Countries such as Japan and Korea, where Christmas is popular despite there being only a small number of Christians, have adopted many of the secular aspects of Christmas, such as gift-giving, decorations and Christmas trees.

Common misconceptions about Christ’s birth - Christmas

The typical story we hear repeated is: “About 2000 years ago, the evening of December 25. Mary rides into Bethlehem on a donkey, urgently needing to deliver her baby. Although it’s an emergency, all the innkeepers turn them away. So they deliver baby Jesus in a stable. Then angels sing to the shepherds. Afterwards, they all join three kings with camels in worshipping the quiet newborn king.”

The bible, our source of inspiration

There are times when things around you seem still and life itself dull.
Sometimes, our Christian journey looks impossible and circumstances might even enclose us on all sides.
Friends, this is not the time to complain, grumble or murmur to God.
The truth is, this is the time to seek God the more via his word – The Bible.

Jacob Must Die! - Jacob?

Funny title on word of God today right? Yes. Everyone around have been laughing all day due to this post and I’m guessing you’re the next. Just don’t over do it. It’s a merry season and Christmas is just around the corner - we really need to be merry.

Yes, I left the house this morning on my way to the office (church) and after some few miles journey, I saw a Christian Poster advertising an upcoming 3 days prayer and fasting programme with the theme boldly written on the topmost top of the poster – “JACOB MUST DIE” and I was like “What in Gods’ name is that.”

Salvation - prayer of salvation

After every message by any Christian minister, you’ll always hear about salvation. Its called the 'call to salvation' or prayer of salvation for the lost souls (Unbelievers).
“Jesus answered him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6). This is to say good works cannot save you. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9. To really demonstrate your Salvation as a gift from God, here is what you must do:

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Lets take a brief walk into the subject baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said that we would "receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you" in Acts 1:8. Power to live holy lives, power to witness, power to pray, to understand scripture, to minister, and to lay our lives down. I always tell my friends often that Christianity without POWER is just another religion entirely.

Spiritual healing – Freedom from Sickness & Disease

Healing in the Christian faith is more of spiritual than natural. I’ll be very brief in this post as we’re in a Camp session invoking the release of power upon our ministry.
HIV can’t be medically healed without any trace (But the church over the years has record diverse healing of the same disease with proves to show), the blind can see, the lame walk and many more. It has been an era of down with the sickness in the body of Christ. this is what we refer to as freedom from sickness and disease.
